First top place to visit in Mumbai is Gateway of India, it is the most recognized monument and more popular among tourist. Opposite you can see the Taj hotel. Next comes Elephanta Caves, to reach there you need to take a ferry from Gate of India. It takes nearly 2 hours of ride to reach the Elephant Island. You will find most famous ancient caves which are full of history carvings and statures.
Another place is Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus originally it was named as Victoria Terminus. A fusion of Victorian and traditional Indian architecture gives a stunning look to this building which surely going to take your breath away. Not to forget Marine Drive is also known as Queen's Necklace and also the lovers point. Most of the wealthiest Mubaikar's live in this area and also many luxury hotels can be found.
Haji Ali Dargah is one of the most recognized places in Mumbai. This Mosque sits right in the middle of the sea and near the heart of the city. It is possible to visit this place when there's low tide because you won’t find the path to reach the Dargah when it is in high tide.
